Lyrics of the Week: Immortal Technique The 3rd World

I saw Tech perform this song live on Rock the Bells back in August. He did the first verse to the beat and the second beat acapella. It gave me goosebumps, and he really had the crowd in the palm of his hand. The lyrics, like always, are potent and political, but the specific statement he makes about the Third World is universal and human in it’s nature. If you haven’t heard it, go download it or whatever, it’s off his newest album.
