Who is B.o.B? Well, he’s Bobby Ray. But what does that mean? If this question has been burning up your summer, than you haven’t heard DJ Scream, MLK, and DJ Spinz mixtape Who the F#$* is B.O.B.? He’s been described by many in the media as the “next” big MC out of Atlanta. He was featured on the cover of XXL in their “class of 09″ issue, and was on the cover of Vibe with their up and comers issue as well. And this mixtape along with his live performances is mainly what has driven that buzz.

His debut album is slated for release sometime in 09 and is said to be titled The Adventures of B.o.B., and a single has already been released called “I’ll Be In The Sky”. His previous single “Haterz” got heavy rotation this summer on the radio and on video channels.

His sound is somewhat like Kast or Nappy Roots, but he’s definitely not a copy-cat artist. He’s southern, but his appeal isn’t defined by his region. It’s overall good music with a light sensibility to it. So check out, and stop wondering who this B.O.B character is.
